We Got Rain!

Todd and I were standing at the back door last night at about midnight thanking God for the rain that was pouring down outside! There was more than an inch in the gauge this morning! Since the fire I have had to vacuum our windowsills and blinds almost everyday because of all the sand and ash that blows in. My house never feels clean. It has been very frustrating and I am so thrilled for this rain to settle the dust. In a few days we should start seeing some green out there again! An answered prayer!!

Many people have asked if we have to go to Russia for the pretrial. The answer is no, we don't. That is just when the judge assigns our court date. We are counting the days (16!) until the pretrial on May 21 when we'll know our court date and can order our tickets and visas and make some definite plans. We are pretty sure that we'll be taking Blaine with us on this trip. 3 weeks is too long to leave him and it will be such an awesome experience for him. He can't wait to meet his little sister! Yes, we know it will also be difficult at times but we think it will be worth it.
